Kentucky at Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. (Interstat) — The Georgia Bulldogs look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they host the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.

Georgia (3-1) is coming off a narrow 24-21 defeat to then-Alabama. The Bulldogs’ offense showed balance in the loss, with quarterback Gunner Stockton accounting for a touchdown and running back Chauncey Bowens rushing for 119 yards and a score.

Kentucky (2-2) aims to bounce back from a 35-13 road loss to South Carolina. The Wildcats’ ground game found some traction as Seth McGowan rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, but the passing attack struggled with quarterback Cutter Boley completing 10 of 19 passes for 124 yards.

The matchup features a stark contrast in recent history. Georgia has dominated the series, winning 14 straight meetings. According to Interstat’s game simulator, that trend is projected to continue with a 32-16 Georgia victory.

Despite the lopsided recent results, Kentucky has been installed as a 20.5-point underdog, with the over/under set at 48.5 points.

The game is a critical SEC East matchup for both teams as they navigate the heart of their conference schedules. Georgia will travel to Auburn next week, while Kentucky has a bye before hosting Texas.
