BOSTON (Interstat) — Harvard opened its season with a decisive 41-7 victory over Brown on Saturday at Harvard Stadium. The Crimson seized control immediately, with linebacker Dorsey Benefield returning an interception for a touchdown on Brown’s first offensive play. Harvard quarterback Jaden Craig led the onslaught, completing 24 of 31 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns. The Bears’ only score came on a first-quarter touchdown pass from James Murphy to Ty Pezza, but the offense struggled against a stifling Harvard defense that recorded three interceptions. Both teams are now 1-0 to start the season.
