Towson at Bryant
OKLAHOMA CITY (Interstat) — Two teams looking to rebound from last-second losses, the Towson Tigers and Bryant Bulldogs, will meet on Saturday at Taft Stadium with identical 2-2 records.
The non-conference matchup projects as a potential shootout. Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a 41-35 victory for the home-standing Bulldogs.
Both teams are coming off narrow defeats on Sept. 20. Towson fell 31-28 to Youngstown State, while Bryant was edged 50-48 in a high-scoring affair at Campbell.
The Tigers’ offense is led by quarterback Andrew Indorf, who passed for 238 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score in the loss. He has a versatile weapon in John Dunmore, who threw a 33-yard pass, caught a touchdown, and rushed for a score last week.
Bryant’s attack features a dual-threat quarterback in Brennan Myer, who accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) against Campbell. Running back Dylan Kedzior provides balance, rushing for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the same game.
Towson started the season 2-0 with wins over Norfolk State and Morgan State before dropping its last two, including a 44-17 loss at Maryland. Bryant’s season has been a series of swings, with a win over Massachusetts and a blowout of Bentley sandwiched between a season-opening loss to New Mexico State and last week’s shootout defeat.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, Sept. 27, in Oklahoma City. Towson opens Coastal Athletic Association play at home against Elon on Oct. 4. Bryant begins its Big South-OVC schedule the same day, hosting Maine.
