(Interstat) — Connor Marshburn delivered a dominant pitching performance and the UNC Wilmington offense erupted late to defeat Jacksonville 8-3 in the opener of a three-game series on Friday night. Marshburn, the Seahawks’ starting pitcher, was nearly untouchable for 6 1/3 innings, holding the Dolphins without a hit while striking out eight.
