ATHENS, Ga. (Interstat) — Ryan Wynn went 4 for 5 with two home runs and four RBIs to lead Georgia to an 18-2 victory over Long Island on Friday at Athens Olympic Indoor Hall. Joey Volchko struck out 10 over six scoreless innings, allowing no hits for the Bulldogs, who improved to 47-12. Brennan Hudson homered twice, going 2 for 2 with two RBIs. Rylan Lujo went 3 for 5 with a homer and two RBIs. Jack Arcamone was 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBIs. Daniel Jackson added a homer and two RBIs. Georgia broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning and a six-run sixth, finishing with 20 hits. Wynn homered in the fourth and sixth innings. Ryan Black, Cole Johnson and others also went deep for the Bulldogs. Long Island managed two hits, scoring one unearned run in the sixth on a passed ball. Noah Tabaie took the loss. The Sharks fell to 30-20.
