BIRMINGHAM (Interstat) — Alabama State erased a four-run deficit with a five-run fourth inning Saturday evening and defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 8-5 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Championship at Regions Field. The Hornets improved to 33-21 and advanced in the double-elimination tournament, while the Golden Lions fell to 24-34 and were eliminated from the championship.
