(Interstat) — Andrew Evans struck out 10 over six innings and Mason Schwalbach delivered a game-tying three-run home run to lead Southern Illinois to an 8-4 victory over Evansville on Wednesday afternoon at Reagan Field in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup. Evansville (20-32, 7-14 MVC) struck first in the third inning when Reid Haire launched a two-run homer to right field, scoring Charlie Longmeier, who had singled earlier.
