(Interstat) — Kendric Sorgius’s grand slam in the fourth inning broke open a tight Mid-American Conference doubleheader opener Friday, powering Ball State to a 10-2 victory over Bowling Green at Scheumann Stadium. The Cardinals improved to 23-28 overall and 14-14 in conference play, while the Falcons fell to 17-32 and 11-17.
