BERKELEY, Calif. (Interstat) — Kaito Nakao drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday, lifting California to a 4-3 comeback victory over San Francisco at Evans Diamond.

The Dons took a 3-0 lead in the first on Myles Kallinger’s two-run homer, but the Golden Bears chipped away, tying the game on an unearned run in the sixth. San Francisco squandered a go-ahead chance in the ninth when Kallinger’s RBI groundout plated a run but left the bases loaded.

Six San Francisco relievers combined for eight scoreless innings until the 10th. California’s Cade Colombara earned the win with 1 1/3 perfect innings of relief. The Golden Bears improved to 21-18, while the Dons fell to 18-19. The teams meet again Friday.
