(Interstat) — The Saint Bonaventure Bonnies erupted for a seven-run fourth inning, powered by a three-run homer from Morgan Fernandez, to seize control and defeat the UNC Asheville Bulldogs 11-7 in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday at Greenwood Baseball Field. The Bonnies (1-1) pounded out 13 hits, overcoming an early deficit to even their record.
