TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — Oral Roberts scored eight runs in the fifth inning to overcome an early deficit and defeat Oklahoma State 11-6 on Tuesday at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

Cooper Combs homered and drove in two runs, and Cooper Kelly added a solo homer and finished with two RBIs for the Golden Eagles (26-16). Keaton Campbell had two RBIs, and Martell Davis and Hudson Ellis each drove in a run during the seventh-inning rally.

Brendan Asher earned the win, pitching five innings and allowing two hits with three strikeouts and no earned runs.

Oklahoma State (28-17) took an early lead on Aidan Meola’s solo homer in the sixth and Garrett Shull’s three-run blast later that inning, but the Cowboys stranded runners and grounded into two double plays.

Parker Jennings pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts for Oklahoma State, and Luke Williams struck out three in a hitless inning for Oral Roberts.

The Cowboys had 10 hits while the Golden Eagles managed nine.
