LAFAYETTE, La. (Interstat) — Louisiana-Lafayette rallied from an early deficit with a four-run fourth inning Sunday afternoon at M. L. Tigue Moore Field, beating Georgia State 4-3 to complete a three-game Sun Belt Conference sweep.
The Ragin’ Cajuns (29-18) fell behind 1-0 in the first inning but responded in the bottom of the fourth when Griffin Hebert launched a solo home run to deep right field, his first of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1. He entered the game with a win last Wednesday against Nicholls State and a loss at Arkansas State in his previous two outings.
