BLACKSBURG, Va. (Interstat) — Virginia Tech pitchers combined for a no-hitter Tuesday evening in a 14-0 rout of Radford at English Field.

Five Hokies relievers — Ethan Grim, Madden Clement, Danny Lazaro, Brody Roe and Josh Berzonski — each threw at least one scoreless inning behind starter Mason Hatcher. The staff recorded nine total strikeouts.

The Hokies’ offense provided ample support, scoring five runs in the second inning and seven in the fifth. Sam Grube went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, while Nick Locurto hit a two-run homer. Hudson Lutterman and Ethan Ball drove in four and three runs, respectively.

The loss dropped Radford to 16-17. Virginia Tech improved to 17-18.
