NEW YORK (Interstat) — Caden Young delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday evening, lifting the Fordham Rams to a 4-3 victory over the Richmond Spiders at Jim Houlihan Park at Jack Coffey Field.

The Spiders took a 3-2 lead in the fifth on Dylan Winebrenner’s two-run homer. Fordham’s Robbie Stewart provided 4 1/3 hitless innings of relief, striking out four, to keep the Rams close. Richmond pitchers Jackson Hinchliffe, Dominic Ruggiero and Justin Gay combined for 5 2/3 hitless innings, but Gay allowed two earned runs in the ninth.

Fordham evened its record at 11-11. Richmond fell to 12-12.
