ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — The Saint John’s Red Storm scored early and piled on late, cruising to an 8-1 victory over the Texas-Arlington Mavericks on Friday night at Clay Gould Ballpark. The Red Storm (8-12) set the tone immediately, plating two runs in the first inning off Mavericks starter Caylon Dygert. Jayder Raifstanger and Shaun McMilan opened the game with consecutive singles.
