BILOXI, Miss. (Interstat) — Ace Reese’s seventh-inning grand slam fueled an eight-run rally as Mississippi State stormed back to defeat Tulane 11-7 on Tuesday night at MGM Park.

The Green Wave built a 7-2 lead, highlighted by Jason Wachs’ three hits and an RBI. But the Bulldogs sent 12 men to bat in the seventh, with Reese’s blast to left-center off J.D. Rodriguez being the decisive blow. Mississippi State relievers Maddox Miller, Chris Billingsley and Ben Davis combined for four scoreless innings.

Mississippi State (15-2) won its fourth straight. Tulane (9-8) saw its bullpen falter after strong early work from Jake Toporek.
