ST. LOUIS (Interstat) — The Saint Louis Billikens erased an early seven-run deficit to outlast the Bradley Braves 9-7 on Saturday evening at Billiken Sports Center.

Bradley’s Jack Holubowski launched a two-run homer in the second inning, part of a seven-run outburst. Anthony Martinez added a two-run shot in the ninth for the Braves, who finished with 10 hits.

Saint Louis, which had nine hits, chipped away with a three-run second inning. Chase Beattie homered in the third, and Andrew Kleinheider drove in two runs, including the go-ahead RBI single in the fifth. The Billikens’ bullpen combined for five innings of relief.

Bradley starter Davis Webb allowed three earned runs over 4 1/3 innings. Saint Louis improved to 6-9, while Bradley fell to 4-9. The teams conclude their series Sunday.
