LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Interstat) — Tague Davis drove in six runs, including a three-run homer, as the Louisville Cardinals pounded the Seton Hall Pirates 16-1 on Friday evening at Jim Patterson Stadium.

Davis doubled and homered as part of an 11-hit Louisville attack. Griffin Crain added a two-run homer and three RBIs. The Cardinals sent 11 batters to the plate in a six-run second inning, capitalizing on a key Seton Hall error to score five unearned runs.

Ethan Eberle earned the win for Louisville, allowing one run on six hits over five innings while striking out seven. Seton Hall’s lone run came on a Nick Tomasetto RBI double in the third. The Pirates managed seven hits but fell to 4-5. Louisville improved to 8-5.
