BELLEVUE, Wash. (Interstat) — Kade Walker and two relievers combined on a three-hitter Friday evening as Jackson State defeated Seattle 5-1 at Bannerwood Park.

Walker, the Tigers’ star, dominated over six innings, allowing one unearned run and striking out seven without surrendering a hit. Derek Arrocha and Jaedeyn Edwards completed the no-hit effort by the Jackson State bullpen.

The Tigers provided all the offense Walker needed in the first inning when Pierre Cabral hit a three-run homer. Diego Melendez added a solo shot in the fifth.

Jackson State improved to 6-7. Seattle fell to 2-11.
