(Interstat) — The Akron Zips rallied for three runs in a chaotic eighth inning to overcome a late deficit and defeat the North Carolina A&T Aggies 5-4 on Sunday, completing a three-game series sweep. The game, which began in the afternoon and concluded under evening lights, turned on a pivotal top of the eighth. Trailing 4-2, Akron’s offense erupted against the Aggies’ bullpen.
