ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — The Louisville Cardinals scored four unanswered runs to defeat the Nebraska Cornhuskers 4-2 in a neutral-site college baseball game Friday evening at Clay Gould Ballpark.

Nebraska’s Dylan Carey hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, but Louisville responded with a three-run sixth. Griffin Crain delivered a two-run double and Tague Davis added a solo homer in the seventh. Nebraska grounded into three double plays, stalling multiple rallies.

Ty Horn started strong for Nebraska with five hitless innings, but Louisville relievers Jack Brown, Ethan Eberle and Aaron England combined for nine strikeouts. Both teams are now 3-2 this season.
