Merrimack at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. (Interstat) — Merrimack visits Dartmouth on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, for a non-conference doubleheader at Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park. First pitch is scheduled for the afternoon, with the second game to follow in the evening. Weather at game time is expected to be 56 degrees with clouds.

The Warriors (17-24 overall) enter the day after a 14-9 loss to Stonehill on Tuesday. First baseman Greg Cristino went 2-for-4 with two home runs and two RBIs in that defeat. Over his last 10 games, Cristino has posted four multi-hit performances, including a 2-for-4, one-homer, three-RBI effort in an 8-0 win over Marist on April 24. He also homered twice against Stonehill.

Dartmouth (11-22) is coming off a 9-2 loss to Princeton on Sunday. Right-hander Nate Kugler took the loss, allowing four earned runs on five hits in 4 1/3 innings with one strikeout. Kugler has been erratic this season. He threw a seven-inning shutout with five strikeouts in a 15-0 win at Cornell on April 4, but has allowed at least four earned runs in two of his three subsequent starts, including five earned runs in five innings against Brown on April 11.

The Big Green have won three of their last five, including a 4-3 win over Holy Cross on April 21 and a 12-inning, 6-4 victory at Harvard on April 18. Dartmouth has struggled offensively during a 1-2 weekend series against Princeton, scoring a total of 11 runs.

Merrimack has lost four of its last six, with the lone wins coming against Marist (13-7) and Sacred Heart (7-2). The Warriors’ offense has been inconsistent, scoring three or fewer runs in four of those six games.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-4 Dartmouth victory, while the ELO system gives Merrimack a 51.70% probability to win.

Merrimack’s upcoming schedule includes road series at Mount Saint Mary’s beginning May 1, followed by a home game against Bryant on May 5. Dartmouth next hosts Manhattan for a three-game series starting May 2, then travels to Yale for three games May 9-10.
