East Carolina built its lead behind Grayden Lenahan’s two-run homer and a three-RBI double from Jack Herring. Pirates starter Ethan Rose threw four hitless innings, allowing one earned run.

Duke improved to 17-10-1. East Carolina fell to 15-10-1. The teams meet again April 7 in Greenville.
