Cowboys Edge Bears in Back-and-Forth Nonconference Clash
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (Interstat) — Colin Brueggemann’s fourth-inning grand slam powered Oklahoma State to an 8-7 comeback victory over Missouri State on Tuesday at O’Brate Stadium.
The Cowboys trailed 7-1 before Brueggemann’s four-RBI blast to left field, his second homer of the season. Garrett Shull added a two-run homer in the sixth for the decisive runs. Missouri State outhit Oklahoma State 10-7 and pulled close on Brant Kragel’s three-run double in the seventh, but the rally fell short.
