AUBURN, Ala. (Interstat) — Terrell B.’s walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted Auburn to a 4-3 victory over West Georgia on Wednesday evening at Samford Stadium – Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park. The Tigers scored twice in the final frame to complete the comeback. West Georgia’s Andon Lewis hit a two-run homer in the third inning and Anthony Cole added a solo shot in the eighth. Auburn improved to 7-1 while the Wolves fell to 1-8. The game was a departure from projections, as Interstat’s simulator had forecast a 7-3 Auburn win.
