ABILENE, Texas (Interstat) — Easton Teel and two relievers combined on a five-hit shutout through eight innings as Oral Roberts routed Abilene Christian 9-2 on Friday evening at Kimbrell Arena.

Teel, the Golden Eagles’ star, earned the win with five dominant innings, allowing one earned run and striking out five. Hudson Ellis led a 15-hit attack, going 4 for 5 with three RBIs. Cooper Combs added a solo home run.

Diego Cardenas hit a solo shot for the Wildcats’ first run in the fourth. Oral Roberts improved to 3-2, while Abilene Christian fell to 2-2. The result defied a Interstat projection favoring the Wildcats.
