FORMOSA, Argentina (Interstat) — Racing de Chivilcoy defeated La Union 74-68 in overtime Thursday at Estadio Cincuentenario, led by Nicolas Romano’s 19 points and eight rebounds. Alexis Elsener paced La Union with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Manuel Rodriguez added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Racing de Chivilcoy, while Norberto Stucky scored 14. Tomas Nuno had 12 points and seven rebounds for La Union, and Mariano Marina scored 14. Pedro Barral contributed 12 points and five rebounds for Racing de Chivilcoy. Windi Graterol added five points, seven rebounds and three blocks, and Sebastian Acevedo scored eight for La Union. Racing de Chivilcoy shot 26 of 60 from the floor and 14 of 19 from the free-throw line, while La Union shot 25 of 69. La Union held edges in offensive rebounds and assists but committed 11 turnovers.
