MOGI DAS CRUZES, Brazil (Interstat) — Daniel Von Haydin scored 20 points and Mogi das Cruzes defeated visiting Importadora Alvarado 91-70 on Saturday at Ginasio Municipal Professor Hugo Ramos. Mogi improved to 2-0, while Alvarado dropped to 0-2. Von Haydin added five rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Dikembe Andre contributed six points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. Darol Hernandez Zinenko paced Alvarado with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists. George De Paula had seven points, six rebounds and six assists for Mogi, and Paulo scored 14 points with six rebounds. Andres Lugli scored 11 points with four assists for Alvarado. Rafael Paulichi added 12 points and three rebounds for Mogi. Alvaro Chervo had nine points and six rebounds for Alvarado. Danilo Fuzaro scored 11 points and grabbed three rebounds for Mogi, while Janer Arcila finished with six points, three rebounds and four assists for Alvarado. Mogi shot 28 of 62 from the floor and 18 of 25 from the free throw line, while Alvarado shot 27 of 68 from the floor and 6 of 22 from three-point range. Mogi led 48-30 at halftime and 73-52 after three quarters.
