The game is the first of a scheduled back-to-back between the teams, with Aguascalientes set to face Soles again on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026.

Aguascalientes most recently fell 98-83 at Astros on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026. Before that, the Panteras beat Jal. Astros 95-83 on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026. Shaun Willett is a player to watch for Aguascalientes. In his past two appearances against Astros, Willett had 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 22 minutes during a loss, then posted 12 points, six rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes during a win.

The Soles hold the stronger season record and will play at home at Auditorio del Estado. Aguascalientes will look to improve its road form and build momentum in the LNBP standings before the quick rematch. The matchup is part of the Mexican LNBP schedule and will be played in Mexicali.
