GUADALAJARA, Mexico (Interstat) — Paco Cruz scored 26 points and dished three assists to lead the Jal. Astros to a 103-82 victory over San Luis Potosi on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026. Jal. Astros improved to 3-1, while the Santos fell to 1-3.

Cruz, a shooting guard from Nogales, Mexico, was the top performer. Chris Jones contributed 15 points, eight assists and three rebounds for San Luis Potosi. Jacob Calloway scored 16 points with four rebounds, and Jared Wilson-Frame added 16 points, four assists and two rebounds.

Jal. Astros broke open the game in the second quarter, outscoring San Luis Potosi 38-26 to take a 65-54 halftime lead. The visitors closed within 19-20 in the third but were outscored 18-9 in the fourth.

Jose Ascanio grabbed eight rebounds and scored eight points. Pedro Bombino Parada added nine points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Eugene Phelps scored 11 points with seven rebounds, and Yoanki Mansia had nine points, nine rebounds and two assists. Will Yoakum and Moises Andriassi Quintana each scored nine points.
