JEREZ DE GARCÍA SALINAS, Mexico (Interstat) — Kayo Goncalves scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds as Zacatecas defeated Correcaminos 98-76 on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at Marcelino Gonzalez. The game was part of the Mexican LNBP season. Zacatecas improved to 2-0, while Correcaminos fell to 1-2. Goncalves, a power forward from Santa Catarina, Brazil, played 22 minutes and added three assists and one block. Romeao Ferguson contributed 15 points and 10 assists. Wesley Saunders added 11 points. Lucas Doria had eight points and five rebounds. Tavario Miller added eight points, five rebounds and two blocks. Anyelo Cisneros Sierra scored 12 points for Zacatecas. Taylor Johnson led Correcaminos with 13 points. James Franklin scored 11 points. O’Showen Williams added 10 points. Donoven Carlisle finished with 11 points and five rebounds. Zacatecas outscored Correcaminos in the second quarter 32-18 and led 55-35 at halftime. Correcaminos won the fourth quarter 27-22. Zacatecas also beat Correcaminos 95-76 on Wednesday.
