PONCE, Puerto Rico (Interstat) — Caguas routed the Ponce Leones 104-80 on Monday night at Juan Pachin Vicens Auditorium, improving to 22-11 while Ponce dropped to 15-21.

Caguas seized control early, outscoring Ponce 28-18 in the first quarter and led 49-43 at halftime. The visitors extended the margin to 73-66 after three quarters before pulling away with a 25-24 edge in the fourth.

Luis Rivera led Caguas with 18 points, five assists and three rebounds. Louis King added 17 points, six rebounds and two assists. Moses Brown contributed 12 points, seven rebounds and one block. Travis Trice dished 15 assists to go with eight points. Josh Denton scored 13 points with five rebounds, and Richard Nunez Rivera had 11 points and six rebounds.

For Ponce, Fernando Caballero Acevedo scored 16 points with four rebounds and two assists. Bryan Powell posted 12 points and nine rebounds. Johned Walker added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
