SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (Interstat) — Luismal Ferreiras recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Indios to a 103-68 victory over the Titanes on Sunday.

Charles Brown Jr. scored a game-high 21 points and added four assists for the Indios, who improved to 15-5. BJ Fitzgerald contributed 18 points, Miguel Miranda added 16 and Babatunde Akingbola had six points and nine rebounds. Eddy Mercedes finished with five points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Isaiah Rivera led the Titanes with 19 points, and Richard Bautista added 13 points and two blocked shots. Romeao Ferguson scored 10 points for Titanes, who fell to 8-11.

Indios shot efficiently from the floor and from three-point range while limiting Titanes to well below their season averages. The Indios also dominated the glass and forced multiple turnovers.

The game, part of the Dominican Republic basketball league, was played at Santo Domingo. Indios had beaten Titanes 113-79 on May 8 in the teams’ previous meeting.
