GUADALAJARA, Mexico (Interstat) — Tyran de Lattibeaudiere recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Jal. Astros defeated Ciudad de Mexico 107-87 on Friday at Unidad Deportiva Avila Camacho in a Mexican CIBACOPA matchup.

Sindarius Thornwell scored a game-high 21 points, while Makhi Mitchell and Trey Burke each added 20 points for the Astros, who improved to 70-11 this season. Ciudad de Mexico dropped to 23-24.

The Astros trailed by nine points after the first quarter, but outscored the visitors 32-17 in the third quarter to take control. Jal. Astros won the second half 61-32 and never trailed after halftime.

Fred Cleveland led Ciudad de Mexico with 18 points. Jeremiah Davenport added 16 points and Chuba Ohams grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Astros have now won four consecutive head-to-head meetings against Ciudad de Mexico, including a pair of wins by large margins in May. The teams meet again Saturday in Guadalajara.
