CULIACAN, Mexico (Interstat) — Chris Perry scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Jal. Astros to a 105-103 victory over the Culiacan Caballeros on Friday at Polideportivo Juan S. Millan.

The Astros improved to 69-11, while the Caballeros fell to 18-24. Jal. scored 25 in the first, 25 in the second, 28 in the third and 27 in the fourth. Culiacan posted 27, 27, 26 and 23.

Perry, a center, also had one assist in 28 minutes. Sindarius Thornwell added 19 points and four rebounds. Trey Burke contributed 14 points and nine assists. Tyran de Lattibeaudiere scored 16 with seven rebounds. Jaron Martin had 12 points.

Roddy Peters led Culiacan with 30 points and 11 assists. Tre’Darius McCallum added 30 points and six rebounds. Torren Jones posted 18 points and 17 rebounds.

The Astros have won four of the last five meetings between the teams.
