MOCA, Dominican Republic (Interstat) — Kevin Obanor scored 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Heroes de Moca to a 120-111 victory over Leones on Wednesday afternoon at the Dominican Republic league game.

Angel Gerardo Suero paced Leones with 27 points, five rebounds and five assists. Caleb Huffman added 24 points, six boards and four assists for the home team. Nargenis Ulloa contributed 14 points, five rebounds and eight assists.

Kerry Richardson scored 15 points with six rebounds for Leones. Reggie Quezada added 21 points, and Brayan Savinon dished 11 assists to go with 11 points. Eloy Vargas hauled in 13 rebounds for Heroes de Moca while scoring four points. Romaine Thomas finished with 10 points for Leones, and Robert Glenn added 12 points off the bench.

Leones fell to 5-11 on the season. Heroes de Moca improved to 9-6. The visitors connected on 40 of 91 field goal attempts, 9 of 37 from 3-point range and 22 of 28 from the free throw line. The home team shot 48 of 86 from the floor, 11 of 27 from beyond the arc and 13 of 17 at the stripe.
