SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (Interstat) — BJ Fitzgerald scored 41 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Indios past the Soles 97-93 on Thursday night. Indios improved to 12-2, while Soles fell to 2-12. Fitzgerald also had one assist, continuing a strong stretch after scoring 16, 13 and 18 points in his previous three games. Eddy Mercedes contributed nine points, five rebounds and seven assists for Indios. Miguel Miranda added 15 points and two rebounds. Luismal Ferreiras had six points and five rebounds, and Juan Rosario pulled down seven rebounds with four points. Dimas Carrasco led Soles with 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Darwin Rosario recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists, plus seven rebounds and two blocks. Bradley Ezewiro scored 20 points with seven rebounds and two blocks. Devontae Shuler had 13 points and Levi Bradley added 11 points with seven rebounds. The victory gave Indios a second win over Soles in eight days.
