SANTIAGO, Dominican Republic (Interstat) — Angel Gerardo Suero recorded 16 points, six rebounds and seven assists for the Leones, but it was not enough as the Metros rolled to a 122-94 victory Wednesday night.

Kerry Richardson added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Leones, while Florent Thamba posted 12 points and 11 rebounds for Metros. Adris De Leon had 11 points and 10 assists, Brahiam Mendez scored 18 points, Jordan Hall contributed 15 points and six assists, and Raymer Santana added 15 points and seven assists for Metros. Romaine Thomas scored 15 points, Jose Liriano added 15 points and five rebounds for Leones, and Anthony Fairley scored 16 points for Metros.

Metros improved to 11-2, while Leones fell to 5-9. Metros took control early, building a double-digit lead in the first quarter and extending it to 65-42 by halftime. The home team shot efficiently from the floor and from three-point range, while Leones struggled to keep pace. Metros never trailed and secured their 11th win of the season.
