KITCHENER, Ontario (Interstat) — The KW Titans will host the Sudbury Five on Wednesday night in Game 4 of their Basketball Super League playoff series, with the Titans holding a 2-1 advantage.

KW enters the game with a 22-10 record across all competitions, while Sudbury is 15-12. The Titans have won two of the three meetings in this series, including a 113-104 victory at home on April 16 and a 95-92 win at Sudbury on April 19. The Five responded with a 121-106 home win on April 21.

Guard Tarkus Ferguson has been a key contributor for KW in the series. In the April 19 win, he scored 24 points with seven rebounds and four assists. In the April 21 loss, he had 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Over his last seven games, Ferguson has averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Sudbury will rely on forward Charlie Marquardt, who has been prolific throughout the season. In the April 21 win over KW, he played 41 minutes and recorded 26 points, two rebounds and one assist. Marquardt also scored 31 points in the April 16 loss at KW and has averaged 26 points over his last three games against the Titans.

The head-to-head history favors KW, which has won five of the nine meetings this season. The teams split the first four games before KW took three of the next five. Five of those games were decided by six points or fewer.

In Sudbury’s April 21 victory, center Emmanuel Akot added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and guard Duane Notice contributed 19 points and eight assists. For KW in that game, guard James Towns scored 20 points, and guard Joel Kindred added 16.

The Titans’ overall success has been built on balanced scoring and strong home-court play. They have gone 12-4 at home this season across all competitions. Sudbury has struggled on the road, posting a 6-8 mark away from home.

Interstat’s ELO system projects KW with a 72.1 percent probability to win Wednesday’s game.
