MIRANDA, Venezuela (Interstat) — Yeison Yan Colome scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead La Guaira to a 92-89 victory over Miranda on Tuesday in Venezuelan SLB action. The win improved La Guaira to 8-13 while Miranda fell to 8-16.

Colome, a small forward, played 38 minutes and added five assists and two blocks. Nicolas Palma led Miranda with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Emmanuel Egbuta contributed 18 points and eight rebounds for La Guaira. Franger Pirela had 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Delwan Graham, a 6-5 small forward from Atlanta, recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds for Miranda. Bryan Savinon also scored 20 points. Humberto Bompart, a point guard from Puerto La Cruz, added 18 points and five assists for La Guaira. DeAndre Davis chipped in nine points and five rebounds.

La Guaira shot efficiently from the floor and from beyond the arc, while Miranda kept pace but could not overtake the visitors. The teams meet again Wednesday.
