AGUADA, Puerto Rico (Interstat) — The San German Atleticos visit the Aguada Santeros on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in a Baloncesto Superior Nacional matchup at Coliseo de Aguada.

San German (9-6) holds a slight edge in the standings, but Aguada (7-6) won the most recent meeting between the clubs, an 84-81 decision at home on April 29. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.

Atleticos forward Nick Perkins has been a consistent force. Over his last 10 games, the 6-foot-8 center has averaged 19.3 points and 6.0 rebounds. He posted a 32-point, 6-rebound effort in a 109-102 win at Mayaguez on April 25, and followed that with a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double in the loss at Aguada four days later. His most recent outing: 29 points and 5 rebounds in an 85-90 defeat at Arecibo on Sunday. The team is 4-1 in his last five starts when he scores at least 20 points.

Aguada counter with swingman Rigoberto Mendoza De La Rosa. The 6-foot-3 veteran scored 19 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the April 29 win over San German. His recent form has been uneven, but he recorded a triple-double (17 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists) in a double-overtime victory at Quebradillas on April 12. He struggled in Aguada’s last game, a 98-69 home loss to Carolina on Sunday, managing 6 points on 2-of-9 shooting.

San German comes in having lost two straight, including Sunday’s 90-85 defeat at Arecibo. Montrezl Harrell added 12 points and 14 rebounds in that game, while Alex Hamilton scored 20. The Atleticos are 3-3 on the road this season.

Aguada has dropped three of its last four contests. In addition to the Carolina blowout, the Santeros fell 85-82 at Mayaguez on Friday. Matthew Lee (9 points, 6 assists) and John Holland (10 points) were productive in the loss to Carolina.

Wednesday’s game is the second of four regular-season meetings between the BSN rivals. Aguada leads the series 1-0. The teams face each other again on May 28 in San German and June 3 in Aguada.
