CAROLINA, Puerto Rico (Interstat) — The Bayamon Vaqueros defeated the Carolina Giants 80-79 on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in a Puerto Rican BSN matchup. Bayamon trailed 21-20 after the first quarter but tied the game 39-39 at halftime. The Vaqueros erupted for 29 points in the third quarter to take a 68-62 lead, then held off a late Carolina rally by outscoring the Giants 12-16 in the final period.

Jaylin Galloway led Bayamon with 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Javier Mojica added 18 points and five rebounds, while Gary Browne contributed 10 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Renaldo Balkman had five points and 11 rebounds.
