WINNIPEG (Interstat) — Teddy Allen scored 54 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Winnipeg Sea Bears defeated the Montreal Alliance 109-80 in a Canadian Elite Basketball League game Sunday at Canada Life Centre. Xavier Moon added 17 points, 14 assists and six rebounds for Winnipeg, which improved to 15-10. Jeremiah Tilmon contributed 16 points, six rebounds and three blocks, while D.J. Burns had 12 points and six rebounds. The Sea Bears led 27-19 after the first quarter, 54-33 at halftime and 76-50 entering the fourth. Montreal shot 30 points in the final period but could not overcome the deficit. Prince Oduro paced the Alliance with five points and five rebounds. Montreal fell to 10-16, losing its fourth straight. Winnipeg snapped a two-game losing streak.
