Winnipeg took control early, outscoring Ottawa 28-18 in the first quarter and never looking back. The Sea Bears led 58-44 at halftime and extended the margin to 87-67 after three quarters.

Both teams entered the game with 6-6 records in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Winnipeg’s Nathan Bilamu posted 20 minutes of action with eight points, four rebounds, four assists and one block.
