CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil (Interstat) — The Corinthians basketball team pulled away in the third quarter to earn a 92-79 victory over Caxias Do Sul in a Brazilian NBB matchup Friday at Ginásio Vasco da Gama.

Leading 44-37 at halftime, Corinthians outscored the hosts 30-24 in the pivotal third period to secure the road win. Elinho Corazza led Corinthians with 14 points and 11 assists. Caue dos Santos added a team-high 19 points.

Humberto Gomes paced Caxias Do Sul with 18 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Corinthians improved to 26-11 across all competitions this season, while Caxias Do Sul fell to 17-20.
