Sunday, March 29, 2026 · Final · BSL First Round Game 1 (CAN-LEJ leads 1-0)

Lake Erie vs. Windsor

WINDSOR, Ontario (Interstat) — The Windsor Express will look to improve their playoff positioning and avenge a recent home loss when they host the Lake Erie Jackals in a Basketball Super League matchup Sunday at WFCU Centre.

Windsor (12-13) enters the contest after a 114-97 road loss to the KW Titans on Saturday. The Express hold a middling record but remain in the hunt for a postseason berth. They will rely heavily on forward Billy White, who is averaging 21.8 points over his last four games. White scored 27 points in Windsor’s 100-109 home loss to Lake Erie just 10 days ago on March 19.

Lake Erie (6-15) is coming off a difficult 133-104 defeat to the Montreal Alliance on March 22. The Jackals have struggled for consistency but have shown the ability to compete with Windsor, splitting the last two meetings. Their fortunes hinge on the play of forward Dane Miller, who is in the midst of a stellar individual stretch. Over his last four games, Miller is averaging 26.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists, including a 27-point, 5-rebound performance in the victory here on March 19.

The season series is tied 2-2, with each team winning once on the other’s home floor. Windsor narrowly won 110-109 at Lake Erie on March 7, while the Jackals returned the favor with their 109-100 win in Windsor on March 19. According to Interstat’s ELO system, the Express are projected as strong favorites with a 79.5% probability to win Sunday’s rubber match.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT. A Windsor victory would solidify their standing in the league table, while a Lake Erie upset would provide a crucial boost to their flagging season.
