RIO CLARO, Brazil (Interstat) — Ulbra delivered a commanding 95-63 victory over Bauru in a Brazilian NBB game Thursday at Ginasio Felipe Karam, overcoming heavy odds as a significant statistical underdog.

The home team seized control with a 27-point first quarter and never relented, using a 27-9 third-quarter run to bury Bauru. Ulbra’s efficiency was decisive, shooting 50.8 percent from the floor and a near-perfect 24 of 25 from the free-throw line. Bauru managed just 33.3 percent shooting.

Guilherme Santos led Ulbra with 19 points and eight rebounds. Matheus Custodio added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Dontrell Brite scored 16 points for Bauru in the loss.
