LA BANDA, Argentina (Interstat) — Gonzalo Bressan scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds Thursday night to lead Olimpico to a 93-85 victory over Obras Sanitarias in Argentinian Liga A basketball at Estadio Vicente Rosales.

Olimpico, which improved to 10-17, used a dominant 34-point fourth quarter to pull away after Obras Sanitarias had rallied from a halftime deficit. The visitors, now 17-14, had erased a five-point gap at intermission with a 33-point third quarter.

Bressan, the center, added an assist and a block in 40 minutes. Jose Ascanio supported him with 19 points and 12 rebounds for Olimpico. Ty Sabin led Obras Sanitarias with 23 points.

The outcome reversed an October meeting won by Obras Sanitarias and defied statistical projections favoring the visitors.
