LA BANDA, Argentina (Interstat) — Olimpico dominated Sante Fe 96-70 in an Argentinian Liga A contest Friday at Estadio Vicente Rosales. Jose Ascanio led all scorers with 24 points and seven rebounds for Olimpico, which used a 27-7 third-quarter run to pull away decisively after leading 40-36 at halftime. Franco Vieta added 21 points for the hosts. Sante Fe, which got 16 points apiece from Yeferson Guerra and Franco Balbi, was held to a season-low in scoring. Both teams are now 3-5 across all competitions this season. Olimpico shot 52 percent from the floor and made 15 three-pointers in the victory.
