Obera vs. Independiente
(Interstat) — Obera will visit Independiente on Saturday in an Argentinian Liga A matchup pitting a surging home side against a visiting team looking to rebound from a tough loss.
Independiente (4-2) enters the contest with momentum, having won four of its last five games. The team is coming off a narrow 86-83 road loss to Quimsa on Wednesday, where Jose Rolfi Fortunato led the scoring with 20 points. Agustin Caffaro (15 points) and Francisco Conrradi (15 points) provided strong support.
Obera (2-2) is looking to bounce back after a last-second 89-87 home defeat to Argentino de Junin on Oct. 22. In that game, center Will Vorhees scored a team-high 21 points, while point guard Agustin Brocal added 18 points. Forward Noah Allen contributed a well-rounded stat line of 6 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
The game will be a test of Obera’s road mettle against an Independiente squad that has found success early in the season. The home team’s offense, led by Fortunato, will challenge an Obera defense that has shown inconsistency.
Tip-off is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
